The losses nobody prepared you for deserve the same care as the ones everyone recognises.
Individual Support
You know you deserve support for all of life’s challenges, not just the losses that come with sympathy cards. I help individuals understand that grief extends far beyond bereavement and create practical strategies for working through the life-changing realisations that nobody prepared you for – whether that’s discovering you’re autistic, receiving a chronic illness diagnosis, or recognising patterns that have shaped your whole life. Building resilience while honoring what you’ve lost and who you’re becoming.

Grief Beyond Bereavement
Many of my clients come to me when they’re navigating life-changing realisations – discovering they’re autistic, receiving a chronic illness diagnosis, or recognising patterns that have affected their whole lives. These experiences often involve profound grief: for the life you thought you’d have, the support you didn’t receive, or the person you thought you were supposed to be.
What I offer
Sessions: 90 minutes every other week.
Fee: £95 per session (£65 concessionary rate available).
Between-session support: Email or Messenger contact included.
Duration: Coaching typically runs between 6 months and 2 years to be truly effective.
Payment: Monthly in advance for all agreed sessions that month.
Contract terms: Monthly rolling agreement – one month’s notice needed if you’d like to pause or end sessions
If you decide to move forward: You’ll receive a coaching agreement, a brief health and contact questionnaire, and my privacy policy – all standard practice to ensure we’re both clear on expectations and working arrangements.
My cancellation policy is flexible and understanding of life’s unpredictability.
If clients need to cancel due to illness or emergencies, I ask for as much notice as possible and will always work to reschedule rather than forfeit the session.
How to Get Started
Ready to take this next step? Here’s how we can connect:
Contact me here to arrange a free 30-minute discovery call. This gives us both a chance to see if we're a good fit to work together.
We'll chat about what you're experiencing, what support you're looking for, and how my approach might help. I will never treat this as a sales call. I want to hear more about why you reached out, I like to suggest free resources, and if I believe that I am not the right person to help you, I might refer you to other organisations or grief specialists.
I'll send you:
- A coaching agreement outlining our working relationship
- A brief health and contact questionnaire
- My privacy policy
We'll schedule your first 90-minute session and begin working together. I'll guide you through a process of building awareness, challenging unhelpful patterns, and creating sustainable change.
I understand that reaching out for grief and mental health support can feel daunting. If you're not quite ready for a call but have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm genuinely here to help.
Testimonials
"I had the pleasure of working with Teresa Mack during her time as a mental health support worker, both in the community and in a hostel setting. Teresa consistently demonstrated a deep empathy and a genuine curiosity that allowed her to connect with the people she supported. Her congruent approach ensured that her work was always authentic and person-centered. Teresa worked alongside individuals, fostering a sense of collaboration and empowerment rather than doing things for them. Her dedication, combined with her personal and professional experience, makes her a highly competent and trustworthy practitioner. I would highly recommend Teresa for any role requiring compassion, expertise, and integrity."
"Why Work With Teresa: Teresa’s kindness, compassion and empathy is a real asset. She gives you the time you need to feel comfortable in opening up and lets you do things at your own pace. You always feel safe knowing she has your best interests at heart.
What Makes Her Different: She is very professional, yet relaxed, in her approach and non-judgemental. Her style of working is all about finding the best ways to help you move forward. She thinks outside of the box and can help you find solutions to improving wellbeing when you might have thought you had tried everything."
